  1. When did eLineBus start?
 
eLineServices was launched on 22 Aug 2007. eLineBus online bus booking services has started since 07 July 2008
 
  2. Do you offer phone & SMS bookings?
 
We intend to offer phone and SMS bookings. Please call or send in your SMS with the details at +91 44 65553324 / 25 / 26
 
  3. What happens when I cancel my ticket online?
 
eLineBus will refund the money for all cancelled tickets as per the cancellation policy given in our eLineBus terms and conditions. You will receive your refund back into the account that you used to book from.
 
  4. How soon will I be refunded?
 
The refund will be done within sixty days of cancellation. However if you want the refund immediately please call us and we can arrange for it to be collected at our office.
 
  5. What is eline wait list for?
 
eLine wait list is a unique offering at eLineBus. The bookings will have to be made just like a normal booking except that you will be given a wait list ticket with a wait list number. Our customer services staff will then work with the BSP’s and try to get the tickets confirmed for you prior to the date of travel. You can log onto your member area to see the status of your wait list number.
 
  6. What happens if my waitlist is not confirmed before the date of journey?
  If for any reason we are not able to get the wait list confirmed prior to the date of journey you will get a full refund.
 
  7. Can I cancel my wait list ticket?
 
Yes you can cancel your wait list tickets any time. If it is in the waitlist category at the time of cancellation you will get a full refund. But before you chose to cancel please login to your member area and check if your ticket has got confirmed. Cancellation of confirmed tickets will be subject to cancellation charges.
 
  8. Can I choose the seat numbers?
 
Currently this service is not available. Not all our service providers are able to give us the confirmed seat numbers. We will add this in due course once we have confirmed seat numbers from our bus service providers. However you will get to see the bus seating plan in your ticket and you can see which seat numbers are allocated to you by our system. If no seats are allocated to you at the time of reservation you will get an email confirming your seat numbers prior to your date of travel.
 
  9. Can I have a seat preference at the time of booking?
 
Yes you can select the seat preference like window/aisle. We will do our best to confirm your seat preference. However there is no guarantee as this is dependent on the availability of seats at the time of booking.
 
  10. Why do I have to provide my address and other details?
 
It is required so that we know that you are a genuine passenger. Moreover when there is an emergency we will know who our passengers are and be able to contact their family. If we do not know who has traveled in the bus we will not know whom to contact during an emergency.
 
  11. What happens if I miss the bus? Will I get a refund?
  If you miss the bus due to your own delay in reaching the pick up point we will not be able to do anything. However if the BSP has cancelled service you will get a full refund.
 
  12. Can I purchase tickets using credit and debit card? Which cards are acceptable?
  Yes you can purchase the ticket online using debit and credit cards. CCAvenue is our payment gateway service provider.
 
CCAvenue has been approved as a Super/Master Merchant by Citibank, ICICI Bank, American Express, Axis Bank, IDBI Bank, Centurion Bank, Punjab National Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Kotak Mahindra Bank, The Federal Bank, Bank of Rajasthan, IndusInd Bank and HDFC Bank. This new technology solution allows e-merchants to accept online payment from their customers, via any of the Credit Card brands.

  13. If I do not have either a credit or debit card how do I book online? Can I use my bank account direct debit facility?

CCAvenue.com allows e-merchants to extend and integrate their websites to this payment gateway facility, and to accept payment from their customers. This is done by directly debiting from the customers' online account in any of the following banks/divisions.

  This new payment option is available to any customers who do not own a Credit Card, a net banking account or even a mobile phone. With this payment facility, virtually every person can book tickets online.
 
  14. When I loose my eticket can I get a replacement eticket?
  You can go back to your membership area and reprint the ticket.
 
  15. I have asked my friend to book the ticket card using his card. Do I need to carry his card?
  No need to carry your friend’s card. However, please carry your photo identity card and your eticket.
